Infographic Featurette

For this project, I developed a high-end travel promotion for Jamaica. My goal was to move beyond a simple slideshow and create a dynamic infographic that captures the island's energy through professional stock footage and custom data visualizations.

My Workflow & Process

I utilized a rigorous pre-production phase to ensure the "Island of Eternal Summer" campaign felt authentic:

Research & Storyboarding: I conducted a deep dive into Jamaica's biodiversity, focusing on unique species like the Doctor Bird and the Jamaican Iguana. I then mapped these facts into a 30-second timeline to ensure the topography and attractions, like Dunn's River Falls, flowed logically.

Data Visualization: To meet the project requirements, I designed custom animated graphs to highlight Jamaica's 300 days of annual sunshine and its average temperature.

Technical Skills & Tools

The core of this project involved synchronizing complex data points—like biodiversity stats and climate averages—with fast-paced motion graphics. I used Adobe After Effects for the heavy lifting, including the creation of animated pie charts and custom graphics to display Jamaica's 3,000+ plant species and peak travel seasons.

Video & Motion: Adobe After Effects (Infographics & Text Animation), Adobe Premiere Pro (Final Edit & Music Sync)

Visual Assets: Stock Footage Curation, Custom Vector Illustrations (National Flower & Wildlife Icons)

Project Research: Data gathering on Peak Seasons (Mid-Dec to April), Topography (Blue Mountains), and Luxury Hospitality (Half Moon & Moon Palace)

Organization: I maintained a meticulous asset library, categorizing high-resolution drone footage and SVG graphics to ensure a seamless 2026 "Visit Jamaica" campaign delivery.
